The worst NBA draft picks since 2000
In looking into the history of the NBA draft, one thing is sure: There’s no such thing as a for sure winning pick. Likewise with all draft picks, now and then they end up being a boom and others a bust!

The fifth overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft, Nikoloz Tskitishvili turned out to be the worst draft pick in Nuggets history. While Tskitishvili had an imposing 7-foot, 225 pound frame, the Georgian power forward was a colossal failure for the franchise. His NBA career lasted just two seasons averaging a simple 3.5 points per game. Tskitishvili is one of the most worst draft picks in NBA history.

Johnson was chosen sixth by and large by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2000 NBA Draft. Johnson played two seasons in Atlanta, averaging only 6.8 points and 2.9 rebounds. In 2002, Johnson was in an car accident that broke his neck and about paralyzed him. He would completely recover, however his game never improved enough for the NBA and he eventually left to play for Fuerza Regia in Mexico.
